I am an Assistant Professor at Koita centre for Digital Health, IIT Bombay and a trained neuroscientist with a strong focus on bringing practical ML solutions to Indian Healthcare. My academic journey includes earning an MBBS and MD in Pharmacology from Mumbai's prestigious medical schools (KEM and Sion Hospital), followed by a Ph.D. in Neuroscience from the University of Lausanne, Switzerland, and a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Cambridge, UK, specializing in Neuroscience. My current research interests revolve around bringing practical implementations of AIML solutions to Indian Healthcare. As a bridge between clinicians and data scientists/engineers at the KCDH (Koita Center for Digital Health) with diverse skill sets, I play a pivotal role in addressing healthcare problems through interdisciplinary collaboration. Leveraging my clinical background and expertise in neuroscience, I contribute to finding data analytics and machine learning (ML) solutions to pertinent healthcare questions in India.I focus on long tailed problems in Healthcare, developing novel solutions for high dimensional data integration, facilitating multimodal data integration in Healthcare to name a few.
